Who has an 80's factory gray truck. Post pics please.

If any of you have a factory gray truck then post some pics with paint code if you would. I am trying to figure out a certain color of gray paint code. I want to make sure I get the color right. I think I may have the correct code but not 100%. I my truck is a totally different color and will be painting the interior this shade of gray. I do have a similar thread going but thought I would try this route as well. Thanks.

This is my 86 K20. I think they called this gun metal gray. I've been watching this thread -- I hope you find the paint code because I want to paint this truck the same colour.

The code I had narrowed it down to is 83. After looking a little more it is listed under truck colors but show being listed for a mini van. So I am not quite sure what it should be. I am hoping somebody has a truck painted this color and can provide the RPO code from there glovebox if original color.

I think you might be right. I was at a local junk yard today and seen a gray and red long bed. I checked the codes and they were 72 Apple Red and 90 but did not give a color name. It said "stee" right after 90. I have not looked it up yet but maybe Steel Gray? The lower dash was the same color. It had 18D interior code LJJ1 Charcoal custum. I will be going back soon to gut the cab of all of its trim and then some.

Thanks. That is what I needed guys. That is what I will be painting the inside of the cab. Now I need to see if there is more than one color of gray interior. Always something.

silversnail86 Do you have the gray interior as well. If so do you have the code for it as well.

Paint is The same grey, I think. The panels and dash were blue.
