Wiring issue
Redoing a 72 and re wired most of it myself.Now,it starts and runs and all the lights work.....problem is there is a huge drain on the battery.When i diconnect the neg cable and put a meter between it and the batt I get 12.5.I have removed each fuse,unpluged each harness ,alt,everything one at a time and it's still there ??I haven't pulled the starter yet and just ordered new ground straps.Anybody ???

Youre welcome, but it seems to me youre on the right track by disconnecting circuits....im electrically challeged, so im no help
