gears
i wanted to know what kinda gears came in a 68 3/4 ton 6 cyl 3 on tree?,it does about 3000 at 60 mph,thanks again

4:11 would be standard gears for that engine drivetrain. I believe 4:57 could be had but would have been listed as an option on glovebox.

Hmmm, maybe I have it backwards. I know small block is 4.57 standard...I'll have to recheck for the inline motors.

Im not sure what the norm, but a couple 3/4 tons I dismantled with Inlines had 4.57 gears. The old longhorn had 4.11s(sb with auto trans) crazyL

alright thanks guys,i would check the glove box sticker,put the guy i bought it from painted over it many different times so no more sticker
