Oil Pressure Gauge Question
Good morning folks - my oil pressure gauge (1980 K10 w/79 350 L82) sits straight up at 30 when cold, even if sitting for a week. When running, it pegs at 60.
Is this likely a bad gauge, or is there a way to calibrate these so it starts at zero? Really appreciate your thoughts. |

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Question
Sounds normal to me. When you say it pegs at sixty is that when your driving?

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Question
Actually as soon as I start the truck it jumps to 60 and stays there. I am more used to seeing a pressure gauge at zero and going to 30 when the engine is running?
