250 vacuum line routing
Hey guys, I'm new on here, but I sure do love the pics and the posts so far!!!! Anyway. I have a 1971 C10 (no)longbed, 250, 3 on-the-tree. It is in restoration process. It has the stock carb, which has 3 vacuum ports. 1 of them on the side of the carb goes to the timing advance. There was a piece of vacuum line connecting the other two ports... something tells me its not supposed to be like that. Could someone inform me on where they go??

Re: 250 vacuum line routing
Do you have the factory service and overhaul manuals? The assembly manual or a driver's handbook? All of these will help in some way.
The factory manuals can be downloaded here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=558016 However to get you started here is an emission diagram showing the vacuum lines for the 71 service manual.
