Exhaust question
This is an exhaust question about my 94 camry actually. The catalytic converter to the intermediate pipe has rusted at the connection. The flange on the intermediate pipe has rusted off but the pipe itself and the muffler are fine. I bought a universal flange to put on the intermediate pipe and I am buying a new converter. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas if this will work, the universal flange? I know welding one on would be better. This one is a bolt on one. The car has to go for emissions this month otherwise I wouldn't bother. It's 19 yrs old and eligible for historic tags next year, figures. And an emissions extension would only push it back until July. As long as this gets me thru emissions that's all I need.
Thanks in advance! |

Re: Exhaust question
What is a slip fit connection? I have an idea what your talking about. I was going to use a pipe spreader to connect the pipe extension to the mid pipe. Is that what you mean?
