Working on a 71 swb

Doing a complete frame off on this 1971 leaf spring rear swb C/10

I've been doing these trucks as a hobby over 30 years now and I still enjoy it.

Re: Working on a 71 swb

Installed new 4 " lowered leaf springs in rear with 2" lowered shackles for a total of 6 " in the rear
Cut full coil out of new front BB springs along with 2 1/2 "drop spindle gives a total of 4 1/2" in front .Pretty sure I will cut more out of front spring but Im going to wait until I drive it .Set the bed on to cut hole for fuel neck .Going to use a blazer neck turned in and cover with stock blazer cover.

Re: Working on a 71 swb

Well I guess you know what you are doing (lol). Nice work so far and a bunch of nice trucks you've already done.

This is a very lucky 71 to have found you =)
