Re: Pics of C10 Tails on your Suburban
Here's mine sorry I don't have a profile pic, I'd take a better one but my digital cameras currently broken. Its really a fairly straight forward project recessing the taillight housing into the Suburban & Panel bodies you just need to cut a oval opening behind the lens housing so that the housing then recesses into the body, slap some Fleetside lenses on and you now have flush taillights. I did ours about 8-10 years ago and its very sharp looking in person and I've only received compliments from everyone on the look.

That is definitely one way of doing it. I also have thought about this method.

Re: Pics of C10 Tails on your Suburban
If you just put Fleetside taillight lenses on the taillight housing without recessing the housing you will see the top & sides of housing and rain and snow will leak inside the rear quarters and in my opinion its EXTREMELY UGLY without being recessed.

I'm glad I read this. Now I know what was meant by "C10 tails".

Re: Pics of C10 Tails on your Suburban
Well,I prefer country tails but thanks anyway. Hey 1sik7t2,that's one sick '72. Love the letters,a mild "true custom" touch. I've had an idea like that, but different, for my '67 GMC p/u but I'm not gonna tell
