Re: 69 GMC Brake Parts

I appreciate the responses, but I have exhausted every online and local parts store in my area and they all say that drum brake self adjusters for my '69 GMC 3/4 Ton 4WD are obsolete (that means they are no longer available). That is why I posted my question. I should have been more clear, my apologies. I was hoping someone could tell me where to buy outdated/obsolete parts. There are plenty of parts available for 2wd, 1/2 ton Chevy's, but unfortunately, and I don't know why, the '69, 3/4 ton, 4wd is a different story. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 69 GMC Brake Parts

www.rockauto.com shows them as being available.

For what it's worth, I've gotten many items from them and have been satisfied with everything so far.

Thanks, I've been on rockauto.com, not available there, either.

This is the rear axle, but I think they're the same. 2WD is different and 3/4 ton is different. I went to the salvage yard yesterday and got some parts, but they're different than my existing front brake hardware. I will send you pics later. Thanks.
