How did I do
well I havent been to a junk yard in a year or two. This past sunday went to a local pick-a-part yard and got some full power (front) seats and rear 60/40 split bench seat an over head counsel w/ map lights and a rearview mirror w/ compass and temp for my 72 burb. Everything was in great shape as the 98 burb I got them from just arrived in the yard so it wasnt exposed to the elements too long seats just need to get cleaned up a little but in very good condition.
All in all I paid around $160.00 for everything Now i just need to figure out all the wires so if anyone might know how to wire these in PLEASE chime in and let me know First two picks are of wires for seats Last pick is of the mirror wires Trying to upload pics hopefully it works |

Re: How did I do
Sounds like a good deal, price wise. I have been wondering how the rear seats look incorporated into the 72 body.
Any pictures would be great. Plus thank you for not going the seats with the integrated beat belts. These floor pans were never designed to withstand a load (like a wreck) as the doner vehicles were designed to. |

Re: How did I do
Thanks guys appreciate it
Like I said I havent been to a yard in so long almost forgot what it was like and if prices were good or not right now the seats are just sitting in the burb for positioning and are not fully mounted yet. I still have to go get all the grade 8 fasteners and get extra wire to run for the power seats tlcrz1972 these seats were the exact reason I was hunting down pre 2000 burbs or tahoes so they would not have the integrated belts since I also have three piont harness belts in there already I do have to trim a small brace on the rear seat (second pic as it sits too far forward) so it fits properly against the step up area but I think after that it should fit pretty well as for the width of the rear seat it actually fits pretty good but I will get more pics after the seats are fully mounted in place |

Re: How did I do
Excellent value! I ended up with seats from a Buick Enclave and went down to the local dealer and he printed off the wiring schematics for me. The GM dealer should have access to this on their computer. Make sure you install a relay to operate these as they draw quite a bit of power when operating while seated.
Also, I ended up making new bases for the second row as they needed to straddle the step-up to get the proper leg room. The original seats hung over the step about 6". Sure worth the effort as new seats are much more comfortable.
