I have built a stainless steel gas tank with a side fill and I know it will clear a steel bed floor but I really like the wood look. The filler is little over 2" high. Thanks Michael

Thanks this was my first time I tried to tig weld but it turned out good IMO.

Do you see the kick up of the frame above the wheels? As long as it is below that (it looks like it is in the pics) it will clear and as long as there is not a brace that crosses there (I'm pretty sure it doesn't) you're good.

I wrote a response,but must have not hit "post". The bottom of a wood floor does sit closer to the frame,but I think by your pictures you'll be fine. Not sure about the filler,though. How did you plan to route that?

I was planning to put the filler at the stake pocket with a pop up flush mount motorcycle gas cap but I've been reading that tail light filler thread and that looks pretty cool. This is a great site and thanks everyone!

If no one else can before then, I can measure mine for clearance tomorrow. I have her parked in the grass and it's poured all day. I have a wood stepside floor and a blazer tank with a neck in the same location and it clears fine.
