I recently converted to disk brakes but my Master Cylinder Reservoirs are not equal.?

I recently converted to my rear drum brakes to disk brakes but my old master cylinder still has the offset reservoir. Instead of the two reservoirs being the same capacity, the front reservoir is still much bigger than the rear. Will this be a problem? Do the reservoirs need to be the same size if I'm running front and rear disk brakes or does it really matter?

Just today I ordered a disc-disc gm master cylinder for a 1997 GMC JIMMY "TYPHOON" RPO CODE JC1 thru work for the disc brake conversion I got from Blackbirds custom trucks.

You'll need to swap out both the master cylinder and the prop valve in order for your brakes to operate properly.

Currently all I've done is swapped out the rear brakes to discs with the kit I bought from blackbirds (No E-Brake style) The pedal is a bit spongy but all I have to do right now is a quick 1-2 pump on the pedal and I can stop a-helluva-lot shorter than ever before. But once I get the M/C & prop valve replaced/modded,THEORETICLY my brakes should function properly....... Time will tell.

Well I already have an adjustable proportioning valve. I'm just wondering how much it will really matter that the reservoirs on my master cylinder are not the same size. The master cylinder is suppose to be a factory replacement for a disk/disk setup. However the back reservoir is quite a bit smaller than the front reservoir. I was just wondering if this might cause an issue in the future...

Sounds like you still have a disc/drum master.
All the disc/disc masters I have seen have equal (or very close to equal) size reservoirs.
I used a Mopor master cylinder from a early 90s Dodge Daytona.
