wheels and tire combination

hi
i am loking to change my wheels and tires but i don t know if it fits and if it will look good.
actually i have 15x8 wheels one it with 275/60 allround. i want the 70`look and the front tyres smaler then the back tyres.
i ll take cragar ss wheels in 15 inch. the problem is the wide of the wheels what should i take 7 8 or 10 inch?

the tyres i will put on are cooper cobra radial in 235/60 in the front and 275/60 or maybe 255/70 in the rear what do you think?
which wheelwide with wich tyres?

i read a lot about but found nothing i accept. there are shops who talk abut maximum wide for the 275/60r15 is 8.5 inch the most are driving them with 15x10 wheels so i want to know your opinin or maybe a few pics that i could see the difference?

thx a lot

Re: wheels and tire combination

From personal experience 275/60r15 will mount onto a 15x10 rim no problem I just had my Cooper Cobras put on last week and I am running a 235/60r15 on the front on a 15x8 rim. I personally like the look of this combo on my stepside that is lowered because of how they fill up the wheel wells. Here is a picture after I lowered my rear by 2 inches a few days ago I haven't had a chance to snap a picture after I lowered my front end but you should get the idea.

Re: wheels and tire combination

I run 255/60 up front and 275/60 out back for the staggered look and it gave it a little more rake. Because the front tire is about an inch shorter.
