1941 GMC Pickup Seat
I just bought a '41 GMC pickup. Any suggestions on a seat that fits. I'm 6' and need to get as much room as is reasonably possible.
Anyone have luck with van seats? Thanks for any help |

Re: 1941 GMC Pickup Seat
I will visit the boneyard today to take a peek. At least the existing seat works to get the beast around town.

Re: 1941 GMC Pickup Seat
My 1942 has a GM 3rd row from 99-???. It fits great, perfect width, leather and very comfy. I'm 6'2" and it gave me the needed legroom. Have'nt figured how to mount yet, but i'm not at that stage yet, As i have to remedy what i'm doing with the fuel tank.

Re: 1941 GMC Pickup Seat
I have a seat that I think is a 2nd row Tahoe. But I don't like the angle it needs to be at.
I'm 6' 1" and these trucks were not made for us. But, I like em anyhow. I have mine on blocks trying to figure out the angle. But, I think I will visit the boneyard and see what else is out there that might work. Maybe look at a Ranger, S-10, maybe a few imports. If nothing else, may find a good mount. |

Sharp looking ride! The seat looks nice in there as well. I've got quite awhile before I need to worry about a seat hahaha

Re: 1941 GMC Pickup Seat
Looks like your seat riser where the fuel tank goes is gone, Mine just sits on top of that, and i think the height/angle is good for me.

Re: 1941 GMC Pickup Seat
Yes, a solid floor with no riser. The seat in the pics was just tacked directly to the floor with no allowance for height or angle when I got it. It's now out so I can see if I can use it or fabricate some mounts as it was a pain in my back to drive it.
