rally wheel nuts
Do most of you run plain standard lug nuts on your truck rallys or chromed acorn nuts, etc? I have forgotten what they came with.

Every set I've had I used the acorn nuts.

Amazon.com: McGard 84530 Chrome Cone Seat Wheel...
This is what I use. Guaranteed not to rust! So far, so good.

Re: rally wheel nuts
Oeiginally they came with steel nuts wrapped with a thin stainless shell that usually came apart after a few years. The knes in the link above look like a nice upgrade.

Re: rally wheel nuts
That's right. I remember those with the thin covers on them. They were used on about all the rally wheels back then.
I picked up some chrome acorn nuts at Advance Auto today. They'll be just fine. $1.25 each.

Re: rally wheel nuts
Be caredul with the cheapi parts store lug nuts. A few years back i bougjt a set from autozone for a daily driver that sat under a carport and they rusted within 6 months. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Re: rally wheel nuts
Run McGard acorns with locks. More expensive, but will last a lot longer.
