In cab gas tank mount pics

Does anyone have ( or can take) good pics of the stock, in cab gas tank mounts? The Po hacked mine out with a torch right before where the two bolts that attach the mounts to the floor are supposed to be. there are pics of it in my build thread. I will have to acquire the tank straps but will have to make the rest of the mount, unless some has some and could PM me. I want to get the stock experience before I start upgrading as I have never actually driven my truck yet ( was originally sold before I got my license). Thanks in advance, u guys are the best

Re: In cab gas tank mount pics

You probably know but these are welded and bolted. There is a square nut captured under a bracket on the side next to the door for the rear cab mount bolts.

Re: In cab gas tank mount pics

I am in the same boat as you. I am re-installing an in cab tank. Previous owner cut and ground out the tank saddles as much as he could. Also gone is where the straps go thru brackets mounted on the back of the cab at the top of the tank. What really sucks is everything now has dynomat on it.
Haven't really got into working on it yet but I got a used set of tank saddles from http://4-5-6chevytrucks.com/. Very reasonably priced. I plan on bolting them in.
Not sure how I am going to attach the tank strap brackets to the back of the cab. I was thinking that I would make some custom brackets and rivet them into place because it is all freshly painted and I don't want to ruin that by welding them in. Anyone have any better ideas?
