Early Classic Praise
I dont know if this is the right place but I thought I would share something.
I just ordered one of their Drum to Disk conversion kits. I ordered it online and for whatever reason their shipping calculator was not working right at the time. I placed my order and with the express 2-3 day shipping it came to 98.00. My order went through and I printed out my reciept and got my email saying my order was being processed. About 30-45 min after placing my order I got a phone call. The guy told me that there was obviously something wrong because their regular shipping came to 149.00 to my area. No way that the express should have came to 98.00 shipping. My only comment was "awe man" to which he replied "I will honor that price but need to change it to the regular shipping" I think we are both happy with the outcome. They bit the bullet on a little bit of shipping but still got my 900.00 order and I dont mind waiting a few extra days but keeping my shipping the same. I guess I just wanted to praise them for keeping with what their website charged me for shipping. The could have easily said it was wrong and charged me the 149.00 in shipping. The extra 51.00 may have caused me to cancel the order because I was already thinking about just finding cheaper parts in salvage yards and other places. In the end I decided to go with all brand new parts because after all......brakes are a big deal and I would rather have all new parts and seals and know they are right. Thanks Early Classic. That little bit of customer service will surely go a long way with me when I need to order something else. I am a pleased "new" customer. Last edited by N2TRUX; 05-30-2013 at 10:23 AM. |

Re: Early Classic Praise
I use Early Classic a lot. I have to be careful, however, because they are just a couple - three hours away. Their stuff shows up the next day. I have to work around when I'm going to be out of town because I don't want the stuff sitting on the front porch for several days if I'm not going to be here. If there is any problem whatsoever, or they need some sort of clarification, I get a phone call before the order ships to make sure everything is good to go.

Re: Early Classic Praise
I like Early Classic also. They seem to have quality parts and everything came as described. You don't here that very often ! You can ask them, or I did, if it was made in the USA and get a straight answer.
