Re: feetside short bed cost

VALUE/WORTH = What someone is willing to pay for it. If you need it and it looks good I would buy it. If you want to wait or do not need it right now then time is on your side. Just thinking out loud. I looked for good used bed and got tired of waiting. I bought my fleetside parts all new. They fit better than everyone told me they would and am very happy. good luck,Wes

P.S. I live in Illinois, everything around here is a rusty pos.

You live in Los Banos not far from me. That's about the going rate around here. Condition really should dictate price but there's a lot of people who can weld who wouldn't mind picking up that bed with a few dents and dings. I'd say jump on it, they don't come up often.

if it only needs minor work grab it. you occasionally see them for 600-800 but they usually need some significant work.

Re: feetside short bed cost

I was in the same boat. I looked and looked and finally found a floor. It was $350 for the floor. I bit the bullet and went with it as the new floor was $900. Like the other poster said it is what someone is willing to pay, willingness to pay dictates value. Trust me, they are not just lying around in good condition so that has to factor in. S
