Carrier bearing on 1967
For some odd reason on my 1967 long bed chevy truck i cant keep carrier bearing in it,they break off right where they bolt in,Im thinking about every hundred mile or so.My truck has 327,3 speed,been lowerd 3 in the front 4 inthe back with springs...Any Ideas....Jim in Ohio

You need this. I have run it for years on my 383 stroker, no problem, have even been down the dragstrip(13.8).

Start flipping yokes, getting yokes and shafts out of time or flipped from front to back and ballance is non existant. I build driveshafts for a living and I wouldn't change a carrier bearing at home. A professional driveshaft builder would "take it to the guy". Someone with extensive knowledge on the subject knows this isn't a DIY project. If it cost more than $250 to fix whatever is wrong w your shaft just have them build you a one piece driveshaft.
