You mean "torsion bar"?
A "torque arm" is a rear suspension part that keeps the axle from rotating, rather than driving the vehicle forward.
Third generation Camaros had them, as did lots of other cars

That's the sway bar in the front. The shock will probably pass through the upper control arm to mount not on it yet, like some else said.
Looks pretty sweet.

It looks like it mounts to the tab above the upper a-arm, and passing through down to the lower a-arm.

Either way it looks like it will be extremely clean.

Picture looks like it will be coil overs or shock waves based on the bracket going up off of the frame on the passenger side. Similar to the Jim Meyer front end...
