I pulled these out of a 24K mile camper several years ago and decided I'll never use them. The donor truck had bucket seats so there are 4 belts that have the same date. I'm including a set of middle belts that are in about the same condition (late 71 date). The back side of one of the buckles has the chrome flaking in a small spot (see pic). Besides that, give them a good cleaning and put them in a show truck! Check out the cadmium plating on the bases. $150 shipped.

Do you know if these could be dyed a different color that would stand up to normal use?

I think black would be the only color you could dye them. Then you would have to do something about the buckles. That would probably scrape off.

some states you can not have dyed seat belts it makes the fabric weeks and would be unsafe
