Has anyone ever tryed these bucket seats?

I was wondering if anyone has ever tryed buckets out of 08 chevy truck with console I have a chance to get a brand new pair for a good price. I know I will have to do some mods but was just wanting to see some pics also of different seats from donors!

tried putting something similar in for a test, they seemed really tall to me personally, don't remember if the console fit or not

I love my 2012 Silverado seats. Perfect IMHO. Eventually will get covered in blue/black houndstooth for incognito comfort. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=505192

is the depth from the back of the seat to the steering wheel to close, and is the gas tank a problem? Also did you cover your gas tank with something where it is visable now with buckets? By the way I think it looks Great Its all about what you like!

The seat depth is manageable. I'm 6'2" 180lb. Tilt column helps. Smaller wheel would be perfect. VERY comfortable. Gas tank is no issue. Doesn't affect seat placement. Console can slide slightly farther back with relocated tank.

I stole mine. Gave the guy $350 and they had 1500 miles on them out of 2012. Very rare deal. $500 is generally about right. The consoles generally go for $250-$300. Worth the money though IMHO. Mine are also the LT2 trim package which is nicer cloth. It makes a huge difference. So incredibly soft and cushioned. If it wasn't for the headrest nubbies I wouldn't even cover them.
