Cancelling Cam issue

Just installed my Grant steering wheel into my 70 GMC- used the Grant install kit and new cancelling cam (for tilt wheel) - everything works great except that my right hand directional will not cancel out-- Left hand signal works fine- anyone run into this issue or have an idea what I did wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated-

Re: Cancelling Cam issue

Did you knock the little canceling spring in the signal switch out?

Re: Cancelling Cam issue

Usually its the canceling spring that the cam hits. Right now mine cancels fine right but won't cancel left.

I have the Grant adapter and wheel on a CPP tilt column, and I had to bend the springs to get them to work at all either direction.

When I was troubleshooting mine I pulled the wheel and adapter, then just used the cancel cam to turn in there and see if it would hit. Took a few adjustments to get it to work, and it was fine for a while. Now it hasn't worked on the left in a month or so and I have to take it apart again.
