Mustang forum like this??
Details in alternative tinkering board but we just got a 65 Mustang for my daughter. We restored a 67 together in 1988 when she was in high school and she always regretted selling it. Does anyone know of a good old Mustand Forum similar to this one, with nice people and no trash talking, etc.?

Re: Mustang forum like this??
Bill - thanks for the link, I found that site, good to get a recommendation.
Mkittle - just returning for a refresher course. I actually found the Ford to be easier in some aspects to work on than my comparitive 64 Chevelle, especially under the hood. This one is going to be fun, no heavy rust problems, chasing down misc parts, etc. Just lots of cleaning and detailing, engine rebuild and paint. The mechanics I taught this daughter stuck, she is good and now has the patience to take the time to do it right. We are going to upgrade the MC and maybe put front discs on it.

Re: Mustang forum like this??
My wife has been a Mustang fan.
About twenty years ago she had a '65 289, three-speed, white/white interior. I rebuilt the motor with "snug" .040-over and it ran good! Sold it when I had no time (or talent) for the body work it needed. |
