got a crate engine resource?
greetings all - I am new to chevytrucks.com and not very computer savvy. took me an hour or so to get to here. I do know a little (very little) about old school mechanics and am still wrenching at 62. I traded my 69 land cruiser for a nice 72k10 about three years ago. ran ok for local but now has acquired multiple issues and I've decided it is time to replace the engine. I have done a lot of research for a crate long block - but like I said i'm not very computer literate. the best I found so far is Automativeprosupply.com at $1100 w/free shipping and no core. it's a 350/290 4bolt which is just what I want. I can't find much on this company - so i'm hoping I can get some input from some of you fine folks before I jump off the cliff. I look forward to being part of this forum and hopefully i can learn from you. any input will be appreciated.
thanks a bunch, mrric ps - hope I can figure out how to see your responses!! |

Re: got a crate engine resource?
Hands down, Summit or Jegs.
Brand new GM engine delivered to your door for very little more than the rebuilt engine your looking at. GM builds them best. Posted via Mobile Device |
