Jack Instruction Decal

Does anybody know if the Jack Instruction Decal is reproduced by anyone? I have looked at several of the obvious vendors and had no luck. Thanks

Or even better, does anyone have a survivor sticker that they can photograph and I can duplicate??

Not good enough to copy from but definitely different than the truck sticker above.

Re: Jack Instruction Decal

Okay now thats what I am talking about. Good examples for decal positions including the limited slip warning label. Vector, any chance for a hi res close up or was that a file photo??

BTW. Happy 4th.

Re: Jack Instruction Decal

I saved that photo for reference a while ago from someone who posted it here for the same reason you are looking

I just happened to find it as I was organizing my Suburban picture reference collection on my PC.

Re: Jack Instruction Decal

Ok,
I didn't get too much response with pictures, thanks Vectorit and BigDav, so I decided to take on a project. I have most of the line drawings from the assembly manual and am going to try and put something together. I could use some help with a couple of details that were too small in the photos provided.

1. I need the date stamp at the bottom and the part number.

2. I was able to piece together all of the text from various other decals from the period with the exception of two places:

I also need a source for the jack extended and jack handle in the lower left.

I will keep everyone posted.

Re: Jack Instruction Decal

My Suburban has been over at the shop getting it's axles reworked. I finally got over there today.

The Date is 6-12-67 part number is 3926575

"Jack asm" is the text in the left panel

Thanks for the info BigDav. My son and I are working on this and have a pretty good start I believe. Here's a taste of the fruits of our labor:

Re: Jack Instruction Decal

Okay it is done! Lemme know what you think. Any changes or critiques are welcome. Sorry about the watermark, just didn't want anyone to easily copy the work. My intentions are to make them available thru the classifieds.

Did you ever end up printing these jack instructions? I need one for my Suburban restoration. Please PM me with any information. Thanks.

Looks like he hasn't been on the board since 12/8/2016. Hope everything is OK with him....

Uh oh! Maybe the long arm of General Motors reached out and grabbed him.

Otherwise it looks good.
