Will this bumper fit my 68 fleetside LWB?
Howdy folks~
I found this bumper at an antique store--looks like it would fit a 68. I can fabricate brackets, but I am wondering if anyone can see anything wrong with it, i.e. it is far too wide/narrow etc... The guy wants $50, I think it's not a bad price--it looks worse in the pictures, and I think I can get the price down a bit. Anyway, it doesn't look like a stock bumper, but it looks like it might work. It looks like a 73+ bumper from google, but hard to tell. Here are the dimensions: It's 69'' at the widest external point and 63'' at the narrowest point at the bottom of the point, and it's 8.25'' tall at the tallest point. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

I'd settle for someone posting simply how wide our trucks are... (surprisingly hard to find...)

Mine is on the work bench right now. I went out and secured one end of the tape. Here's what you get from that garage excursion. It's, obviously, a 71-72 bumper.

wow, you are what makes this board great!!! Thanks so much! Too bad it sounds like I'm going to have to pass on the bumper, unless I measured wrong; I don't think 10" is going to look good
In my compulsive googling, I also found this pdf: http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs...olet-Truck.pdf
