HD coil springs Vs coils springs--Any difference?

Just trying to figure out if there is any difference to having HD springs listed as an option. Are they all "Heavy duty" springs? What is the difference if not and can I tell be a visual inspection? Thanks guys.

Visually, the center coils will be touching each other (or almost touchin) whiole the HD will not.
The HD ones are basicly 3/4 ton springs if I remember correctly and will ride rougher, but obviously, handle loads better.
