Wheel change up
When I first got Mater he was sitting on 30x9.50x15 tires wrapped on steelies with beauty rings. The front tires were in bad shape! So I had been keeping my eyes out for a set of take offs at work but I wasn't sure exactly what size I wanted to run, definitely bigger then a 30x9.50. I almost have it ready to start driving so I had to do something tire wise. Found a set of stock chevy mag wheels out back that I decided would make Mater look a lot better. Then I found a pair of 31x10.50x15 brand new trade ins. So I mounted the two 31s on the mags and brought them home to bolt on the rear, then I brought the two rear 30's into work and swapped them onto the other two mag wheels to bolt onto the front for time being so I can at least drive it. Scored the two tires and four wheels for a total of 140 bucks. Ideally Id like to run 33s all the way around but I want to replace the suspension with new springs and all new front end parts first so I can see how its going to sit and what I can clear.
