How do you grease this?
i dont see a zirc on it but it looks like some goo came out when I pushed it towards the cab to remove the rag joint.
 also is that boot available anywhere? mines looking pretty dry rotted. |

just pull the column out from the bottom and squeeze in some grease and push the rod back in? Or did you have to take off that bolt above it? Is the shaft splined on the top as well?

The only place I have found the boots is Inline Tube, they have the retainers clips also.

cool site never seen that one before. You dont happen to have a part number from them do you? I dont see any steering stuff on the site but I can call them tomorrow or monday.

ok cool. Im starting to think about that mod as well. I want to go back to a big 17" steering wheel and I'm 6'2" and its already tight with the 15".
but on the other hand after replacing almost all my steering stuff and just finally getting it working I dont want to tinker with it yet

The boot and retainer clips are available through jeep parts suppliers, it is nice that jeeps are made from all makes of cars. I know some Jeep guys who have added a zerk fitting to the larger housing.
