check this out 4.5/6 3/4 drop

i know alot of people had questions about 3/4 ton lowering and i thought some of you might want to see. i have 2'' drop springs and 21/2 drop 3/4 ton spindals. i fliped the rear over the leafs with home made spring mounts. there is still no front end , engine, tranny ect.. so it still will drop down some also im not going to use those tires/wheels cause there 16.5s and there going to rub other wise. im so excited that i can finally see the ride height i know that not alot of people lower 3/4s but i didnt see why not. -kyle

That is awesome. I am just trying to figure out how to lower my 3/4 ton, I didn't know if I would have to swap to 1/2 ton parts. Are those 8 lug slots??? I did't know they made those. If you don't mind my asking, about how much did those drop springs and spindals cost. One reason that I wanted to swap to 1/2 ton parts was because if you are going for the lowered fast street truck look there aren't many wheel options- have you decided what wheels you will go with? Do you know if they make 8 lug smoothies/dog dish rims.
Nice work, it is neat to see a droped 3/4 ton.

the springs are the same regardless if 3/4 or half ton bit the spindals are indeed different i got the spindals with my disk kit and i purchased them from www.classicperform.com . they are 8 lug slots not really sure if im going to use em. the rear flip itself gave it 6 1/2'' with my home made mounts with no c notch just left all five leafs in.
