Finally did a little tune up!

I finally (I've had truck since March) put new plugs and wires on the old 350, hope it helps the gas mileage a little bit. Ya'll should see the plugs that came out of her, no oil or anything they just looked old!

As far as I know she's the original unrebuilt engine. Going to Edb's tomorrow to get the carb rebuilt, probably gonna throw an HEI on it while I have the carb out of the way. Hopefully she'll last long enough for me to save enough money for a 383!

A 383 in a GM always sounds funny to me! I think of Mopar...better go for a 396!!

I never got around to replacing my spark plug wires on my 307 before I got rid of it - you all would laugh - the rats must have really enjoyed the spark plug wire material, munched the heck out of them.

Let us know how you like the HEI.
