Help! Engine Selection!
So, I am new to the 67/72 page forum and I am seeking some advice from some seasoned enthusiasts. I am about to buy or have bought a 72 C10 swb fleetside. I want to have some good power behind me due to having been grown up around the fox body mustangs with my father and having a mustang now of my own. I was wondering what everyone thought of finding a 99 or newer silverado engine, such as a wrecked truck? If so what year would be best and cam selection to give me that throaty growl of an old street rod. Thanks

Re: Help! Engine Selection!
Search around, there a quite a few ls conversions in the works. You want the truck to really scoot down the road find yourself a 6.0

Re: Help! Engine Selection!
There is a whole sub-section of this forum on LS swaps. Lots of info in there.
