Re: Slots on craigs
There are still a few 16.5 in tires floating around. I bought a set within the last year and they were reasonable priced. I know that 33x12.50 and 37x12.50 tires are relatively easy to find

Re: Slots on craigs
That's what I thought that the off-road tires were still somewhat available in that size.

Re: Slots on craigs
I like the way this guy thinks, he's not trying to make a fortune off them but just wants to see them put to good use. Yesterday I saw a young kid driving a mid 80s K-20 with Turbine (Hurricane) wheels and 35s...gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling!. Theres lots of choices out there these days but its hard to beat the nostalgic look of Slots, Turbines or White spokes!

Re: Slots on craigs
I like how he thinks, too. Especially about high dollar butt-azz-ugly modern wheels. There have been myths around 16.5s being discontinued since a decade or more before all these stupid new diameters have come out. I figure if tire & wheel companies were willing to bring that nightmare upon themselves they can sure keep making the 16.5s.
So,who's buying these?

Re: Slots on craigs
Man, I wish I lived closer to this guy, I would snag those in a heart beat. Nothing says period correct work truck like 16.5 slots on a 3/4 ton Chevy.
