Need opinions, Hood or Grille Bowtie Emblem?
I want to put the Bowtie Emblem on the front of the truck,
which do you prefer/think would look better? On the hood or on the grille...or none? I have the Blue bowtie tatoo'd on my arm in a tribute tatto to my father (he had a 69 Camaro) Thanks for any input Older Picture: |

It's your ride of course, so our opinions really don't matter. However, if it were mine, I'd put it on the grill to try and break up some of that real estate between the headlights.

Tilt it 45 degrees and put it the upper right corner.

In the grill but again it's your truck and we all want others to like our rides but in the end you need to be happy

I like the emblem on the hood of a '69. That was the first year for that hood, and so that's where they designed the emblem to go. That being said, you've got a different grille, and so I agree with the post above. Having it on the grille would look better. Definitely better than no emblem at all

Re: Need opinions, Hood or Grille Bowtie Emblem?
I went with no hood emblem (or any side emblems) on my 69, but it's not stock. It's a rest-o-mod and that's the way I went with it. My 70 is different though. All stock and I want to keep it that way. It all depends on what you're looking for. Personally, if I had your truck I would not put one on at all. I think with that style of grill I would keep it plain, BTMO.

We're not ALL stuck in the '80s. Even still, I'm not a doctor or anything, but judging by that front diff, it would be "4X4".

I'd say in the grill. Maybe mock one up and let's see the results. Might change some minds..
