Hey Guys I have been at a stand still for a while but I'm thankful to be back at it again.. Well today I got my engine and trans dropped in..
Still have alot to hook-up, but I also received today my Bowtie Overdrive Package for my Carburater bracket and Spring for the tv valve so when I drop the pan for that I'll also wire the tcc lock-up...

Today I got my serpentine belt bracket 90% done, I still have to bend the power steering bracket back in shape I bent it up a Lil when removing it

Capt. I need to connect the shaft back to the Rag-joint.. But I really don't trust this piece I got with my power steering kit.. I know that I need a whole New Rag-joint the Old one is dry rotted.. Capt what do you have that can get this connected??? Thanks for you time

Thanks Captfab, But the parts house by me have a new rag joint I'm goin to go pick up and make this one work today, kinda hard pushing around with no steering

I used DD shaft and rag joints to mate my tilt column to the rag, and added a support joint.

iirc the rag end is from the 72 we got the steering pump from

3/4 DD shaft is a standard size, which 99% of the aftermarket stuff fits. Keep in mind, I hooked up to a tilt column, which started with its own DD shaft stub.
You can page through my build if Photobucket decides not to be a terrorist today.

Because of the angle and combo of parts, I go
Tilt column (3/4 DD) -> DD Universal Joint-> DD shaft-> DD U joint + support -> 72 rag joint stub into steering gear.

The support joint is a special oversized heim joint from AllStar. I have a short video on the bracket fab and installation being edited now and should be out soon.
