Re: No Reverse Lights
On the the column, check fuse, check for grounding issues...
Good Luck!!!

Re: No Reverse Lights
The factory neutral safety switch is also the reverse lamp switch. I'd verify power (key on) to the connector and measure the resistance of the lamp circuit to that same connector. IIRC the dk green is the power and the light green is the lamps. The two purples are the starter circuit. If they both look good try a fused jumper and see if the lamps come on. It might be a swicth or an adjustment but don't just jump in and replace it. Do the daignostics. Workable copies of the factory service and overhaul manuals can be downloaded here.

Re: No Reverse Lights
After doing a lot of checking on mine, I found I had to add a ground wire to the light fixtures to make them work. They are supposed to ground to the body, but mine apparently weren't.
First thing is the bulbs, then check the sockets with a test light. Key on, shifter in reverse. If no power, start checking the switch and the wiring. If you have power, try grounding the fixture.

Re: No Reverse Lights
The lights weren't working on my 67. After troubleshooting from the rear forward discovered there was no fuse in the holder.
