with the search down, i cant find any info for this swap.
I've decided to keep the 250 and put an auto trans, power brakes and p/s setup in it. What years of truck/ car could i get the best working system from?

If you want an old school 3 spped auto, pretty much any TH350 would work fine. I think a TH 400 would be over kill, but they would work fine too.
If you want an overdrive, any 200 4R or 700 R4 would be fine. I would choose the 200 4R since they seem to be a bit more plentyfull, easier to swap, and better gearing. But that's just my opinion.
