Nashville TN-Anyone free to help me with my C10 tuning/trans shifting issue?

I have a 70 C10, trying to get it back on the road. It probably needs a tune up/timing/points or transmission adjustment because it has a "stumble" issue. It sort of slips but it's hard to tell if it's from the tranny or engine. It has a 350 engine carb'd-not sure on tranny-auto-most likely a TH350. Fluid looks good, not burnt. Basically I thought I would see if there was someone in the area who knew these trucks well who could come over and help me get it running better. I'm happy to pay you-just had a new baby and it would take me a while to research everything,troubleshoot,etc...and thought I could learn hands on with someone much more knowledgable than I. Appreciate any help, thanks! I live in Downtown Nashville -Scott

It starts and idles great-revs great in Park, but when I put it in gear and press the accelerator it will kindof "bog down" lose power, and stumble along.

Take it to
Parkway Service Center
620 Royal Pkwy
Nashville, TN 37214
(615) 872-0208

It's in Donelson up near the airport. Talk with Tim, he has worked on mine and my buddies C10's and know these trucks very well. He can rebuild the points, troubleshoot and whatever is needed to get her running good. very reasonable also.

If you can drive it to Lebanon and buy parts I will help you get it running good.

Re: Nashville TN-Anyone free to help me with my C10 tuning/trans shifting issue?

Thanks for the info and offers to help guys...just not sure the truck would make it far from my house in it's current state (it's needs three tires).... I live within 2 blocks of an O'Reilly and an AutoZone which is why I was hoping someone could come to the house-would hate to be out somewhere and have it break down on me before getting it sorted out. I also have a two post lift in my garage and air tools to work on it if that's an enticement for anyone! We can work on my truck together and if you need to do something with yours we can throw it on the lift! I also have an engine hoist.
