Bucket question

I found these in a 77 blazer at a pick n pull.I snagged them because they look very close to 69-72 buckets as far as shape goes. What mods would I need to do to fit 72 bucket vinyl on them?.Has anyone done this already?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.Y'all be good

Re: Bucket question

The frame is identical underneath. You will need 71/72 foam and covers.

Re: Bucket question

That is a great question and it reminded me of something I have been wondering for quite some time...A couple of years ago I found a set of buckets at the local "U pull it" salvage yard..If memory serves me correctly the donor was a late 70s Blazer, but these are high back buckets. They're just sitting in the garage taking up space til I decide what I want to do with them.Anyone know, would it be possible to alter the seatback frames in order to use foam rubber and covers for stock height 69 buckets?
