Pictures of long bed Camper/Topper shells?

Getting nearly finished restoring my 68, and am looking to
use a small, I mean low , cab height shell as a way to protect contents from weather and theft. Also will be used as week end camper/ Topper . I kind of like the commercial stye without side windows.
Anybody running this ???? I like pictures.

8door go to ARE camper shells website and look at there commerical shells. I have the high top one but dont have it on a truck rite now.

It stuck above the roof 12". I was running expedite freight when it was on the truck. It had the rear swing doors. That was nice.

it's still upside down in the "boat section" of Ridgecrest's city dump... Filled by all those new arrivals with boats that thought China Lake actually had water in it

Jocko, I think that's funny because I was invited to go camping for a weekend by a buddy at China Lake. He laughed at me because I brought a canoe. .. I didn't know any better, I'm from NorCal and a lake is a lake..... Now I see the humor...

Now that's funny... Yep, china lake has been a dry lake bed since the 1890's-ish... We always tell folks when they come here to arrive at night so their wives don't get too depressed. Home sweet home.

This was on my truck when I bought it. The first thing I did was sell it. Now I really wish I still had it.

It's called a Bob Top. They custom make them. I think this one was 5-6 hundred. I got it for 100 from a guy who was selling his 71'.

Here is a big Grumman at the "lake" in Rosamond, CA.

If you want a period style topper, you can build one from these plans in various heights and sizes.
