Loctite and powdercoating
I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice. I have replaced some of my frame rivets with Grade 8 bolts and put blue loctite on them. I plan on having my frame sand blasted and powdercoated. What I am wondering is will the loctite fail when the frame is baked in the oven at 400+ degrees.

Re: Loctite and powdercoating
I would think you would want to remove bolts prior to blasting and PC regardless. Yes the oven temp will affect Loctite.
