The area around my hometown
I thought I would take a few shots around the area of my hometown.
Started the trip by filling up at the local Petro Canada, its the only gas station that has colours that match my truck. That is $154.9 per litre. Convert that to US gallons and it comes out to $5.86 per gallon. OUCH!!!! Next is the old train station in Port Moody, western end of the Canadian Railway with the last spike being driven in 1879,the marina on Burrard Inlet and the Cyprus Mountain Ski Resort high above the city of Vancouver More to follow. |

Re: The area around my hometown
Last one including maps.
Overlooking English Bay and freighters. BC Place Stadium with retractable roof, it rains here a lot. Science centre. Map showing Vancouver in relation to the rest of you. Sorry guy from England but as Canada was an English colony I am sure you already know where we are. God save the Queen. Last is a map of just vancouver. Come visit sometime, its a pretty cool place. |

Lived and worked in Port Moody in the tail end of the Nineties. Never saw your truck or Pamela. Nice looking truck with great background shots.

Re: The area around my hometown
I have only had it for a few years, I brought it up from North Carolina.
Although it is a copy of a truck my Dad had in the mid 70's to early 80's. settled in Port moody in the mid 30's. |
