6" blazer spring lift
Trying to get an idea what a good used 6" spring lift (fronts and rears), raised steering arm and front shackles might be worth off my 71 Blazer. I am still assuming they are 6" just off measurements I have taken from this blazer and comparing to my factory hgt. blazer.
Thanks

Re: 6" blazer spring lift
First of all,I'd sell the shackles separately. They are over and above what's offered with a lift kit. You're also offering the shocks, right? They are matched to the lift. It seems people are motivated to buy used lifts for no more than 1/2 what they cost new. A good way to help gain more value is to offer at such a price along with trade for the stick stuff...that I'm assuming you might need(?). If not,you have something to sell. It's best to know what brand and type (HD vs softer ride) you have. Most want the softer ride, such as Tuff Country EZ-Rides,which are what Off Road Design offers (if it's safe to assume everything came from same place). The springs with u-bolts go for about $900 these days new. Shocks add a little, but those don't last as long as springs,so people are funny about buying used shocks unless they look about new. I'm gonna say the lift w/shocks and steering arm could sell for $500. It would help the wire wheel them and hit with paint.
The shackles sell for $99 new,so $50 is good on those So,when's the show??

Re: 6" blazer spring lift
Tim,
Thanks for the reply. I figured about 1/2 of new. Trouble was I couldn't find any new prices other than kits with rear blocks. I figure to sell everything as a group once I get it off. I am too old a brittle to be getting in and out of the nose bleed section anymore. LOL I put a post up in events for the truck show. Its the 2nd Saturday in October (12th) Richard

Re: 6" blazer spring lift
Let me know when you figure out what you want for it all, and if you might part it out. The PO of mine put blocks in the rear, I'd like to correct that at some point.
