56 truck gas pedal
Dropping in a carbureted 350. Replacing the front floor pans and the old stock gas pedal was a rusted lump of junk. What are you guys using for the "go" pedal ? Prefer something cable operated and easy to find in a salvage yard. Thanks.

look for mid 70's - early 80 trucks. bolts to the fire wall, pull cable thru the firewall. I sold mine off my donor truck to street rod guys. Lokar etc. used it as the model for there billet stuff.

I'm going to guess that the pedal is probably the same but the cable changed when they switched over to TBI ? This is just a wild guess. I'm nowhere near the point of needing one but since I'm getting ready to weld in floor pans I got to wondering what would be cheap & easy to use in case I happen to find myself in a salvage yard. What sucks is that I used to manage a yard in NH with around 1000 cars & trucks on site most of the time. Now that I'm retired & living in Tennessee I have to buy all this nickle & dime junk.
