Where's Acc.

Will someone please clearly define what wire on the ignition switch is "ACC" position! I would really like to connect my radio thru the accessory position so I can listen to radio while parked. Thanks

there should be a connection (for a female-ended wire to plug into) on the fuse panel. Radio should be plugged directly into that spade connection and you will have acc and on powered radio operation.

I have my radio connected to the "radio" connector on the fuse block, but it is not "hot" with the switch in the (left) acc. position. What's up with that?

just turn the key to the left and the wire will be hot with the key on or acc. or go to the fuse box and use the acc. fuse at the fuse box. make sure its hot with key on and key in acc. not hot with key off...

If you have a 67 wiring harness with a 68_72 switch the acc won't work even though the switch will move to the acc position.

Not sure what year harness I have. I did replace the fuse block and under dash harness with a "freebee" from another member here. Do you know what the difference is, and can it be "jumped"?
