Any 17" 5X5 stock rims fit my '83
Hold on, it is related to 73-87 trucks. I recently put some 22" Silverado rims on my 09 truck. I have some 17" stock GMC Sierra takeoffs that are maybe 90% tread left. Anyway does anyone know what 17" stock steel 5X5 rim , that may be readily available in junk yards, will fit my 83'? Had to post pick of all three. Thought about getting adapters and just run takeoffs. Minus the chrom skins. For the cop look. Just want cheapest route possible to put the 17" tires on the '83. As this budget build turned into a not so budget friendly build.
These rims minus the chrome skins. Just could'nt leave it out My '83 Last edited by str8edgec10; 10-12-2013 at 07:26 PM. |

You can also pick up a set of 4 adaptors for 5x5 to 6 x 5.5 for about 100.00 bucks.
Edit: The cheapest I could find them was 65.00 each. You can buy wheels for that price. Last edited by 07XCSBZ71; 10-12-2013 at 09:24 PM. |

Yea, the only stock GM 5x5 17" wheel I can think of is the 94-96 Impala SS wheels. But they aren't steel.

Thanks guys. I think with the Jeep wheels you have to use 2" spacers.
Hell I think even to use the Impala wheels you need to use spacers. I think I may just get some el cheapo rims to NTB or discount tire and put my tires on them. |
