73 350 cid engine timing
what is the timing supposed to be set at for a 350 csb?

Stock setting is 8 degrees iirc

its not too much, I dont think it has a cam, but not sure. it has an intake, 600cfm carb, and aftermarket headers

Set timing at 12-14 degrees. Hook your vac advance to manifold port on the carb.

I am more or less going to try and time it and just see what the sweet spot is, its not like its already out of time but I kinda just want to mess around with it, and I think the vac advance is already in the carb port but not sure

Do you know the procedure for setting the timing?
Your carb has more than one port. Ported and manifold vacuum ports. |

Only way to find the "sweet spot" is with a timing light.
