Front Bumper
I'm curious to ask a question for some understanding.
My truck when I purchased it, it didn't have a bumper on the front but it was in the bed now I was told a while back it was for the 81-87 era trucks what's the difference between bumpers in all the truck series, and could a 81-87 fit on a 73-80?

Re: Front Bumper
They are different. Visual and mounting.
Here you can see the difference pretty detailed. If you click next page you'll see the 81-87 http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/full.aspx?Page=22 |

Re: Front Bumper
Well then maybe you can help me out because this is the bumper that I have it looks like it actually might be the proper year it looks like the 81-87 was more of a tight fit for it.

Re: Front Bumper
That's a 81-87. 73-80 has more of a round shape.
At the left, the top one is 73-80, rest is 81+ |

Re: Front Bumper
Thanks Remon! Yeah I can tell the difference now.
There's no way to get it to work on a 77 huh? unless I fabricated something.

Re: Front Bumper
Some had the turn indicators on the bumper, after 83 or 83 they were moved inside the grill.... sadly about the same time they changed the dimmer switch
