urgent lug pattern question
I have an urgent question since my mother is driving an 86 Ford F250 4x4 with 6 lug wheels and blew a tire in the middle of nowhere. Will a 6 lug wheel from a 70 chevy fit on that Ford?
Thanks, Scott |

Amazing that someone hasn't come up with an answer yet. It's always possible that my mother doesn't know how to count, since I didn't find any references to a Ford 6 lug on an 86.
I don't think the 5x5 pattern from my 71 will work on a Ford. Can anyone confirm that the Ford truck 5 pattern is 5X5.5? |

The bolt pattern is the same on both 6lugs rims 6 on 5.5"pattern, but hub clearance since its a 4X4 may be to small, also may have a problem if you try to use a original drum brake 6 lug wheel as it may not clear the caliper.
